Tide pooling along the coast

Carol Reeb is a researcher at Hopkins Marine Station. She received her Ph.D. in Genetics at the University of Hawaii were she studied the origins of endemic intertidal limpets and the highly migratory fish, mahimahi. Currently, she works on issues related to ecology, conservation, and evolution of marine species, especially those that are commercially exploited. When not in the lab, she can be found hiking around Big Sur, backpacking in the Sierras, or hiding out in quiet places writing about the sea.
